The IMS team has training programs on deforestation where farmers are educated on how to provide shade for the cocoa trees without destroying the desirable ones needed to maintain the forest. The company also has a shade trees distribution program where farmers are given free shade trees seedlings every year since the beginning of the sustainability program.
